Waremart in Keizer closed on Thursday, July 9, due to carbon monoxide found in the air that morning. Exposure sent some people to the hospital, authorities said. The store was open on Friday, July 10.
The source of the gas and the number of people hospitalized due to exposure were unclear. Waremart officials couldn’t be reached for comment.
