McNary is sending 12 athletes to the state track and field championships after the boys and girls teams each took second at the district meet on Friday, May 22.
The state 6A competition is scheduled to start Friday, May 29, at Hayward Field in Eugene.
In the boys competition at the Central Valley Conference, the Celts scored 98 to champion West Salem’s 123.
In the girls competition, McNary scored 84 to West Salem’s 126.
