The McNary High School Band will hold a fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
During McNary Band Day, students will walk neighborhoods and ask Keizer residents for plastic bottles, pop cans, and cash donations.
According to volunteer Jenni Barker, “anyone can also bring donations and cans to drop off at McNary on Band Day.”
The fundraiser raised $20,000 last year, which is the band’s goal for the upcoming Band Day.
