Pentacle Theatre will present A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder beginning Sept. 29 and running through Oct. 21.
The crowd-pleasing musical tells the story of how Monty D’Ysquith finds out he is ninth in line for the D‘Ysquith fortune and proceeds to get ‘rid’ of the eight heirs before him.
The musical is directed for regional theatre mainstay Loriann Schmidt.
The show, which won the 2014 Tony Award for best musical, was written by Steven Lutvak and Robert K, /Freedman, based on a 1907 novel by Roy Horniman.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with 2 p.m. matinees on Sundays through Oct. 21. Tickets range from $20 to $28 depending on day of the week.
