Director of Women’s Ministries for the Union Gospel Mission Kathy Smith presents a plaque to members of the Rotary Club of Keizer thanking them for financial and other support that resulted in a playground for children at the women’s shelter. 

The Rotary Club of Keizer partnered with Simonka Place to create a playground for the children staying at the shelter. Kathy Smith, director of women’s ministries for the Union Gospel Mission, presented a plaque to the RotaryClub to thank them for making the effort at a dedication ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 1.
