CTEC students to plant trees
About 40 junior and senior high school students from the Career Education Technical Center in Salem are scheduled to plant Douglas-fir seedlings in the Fern Ridge Demonstration Area of the Santiam State Forest on Friday, Feb. 10. Fern Ridge Demonstration Area was burned during the 2020 Labor Day fires.
SKPS Board approves $1.8 million land purchase
The SKPS School Board approved the plans to purchase a hangar at the Salem Airport to house a new CTEC aviation maintenance program.
