A driver slowing to stop for a red light on River Road at North Sunset Avenue on Saturday, June 6, was struck by a truck whose driver didn’t stop, according to Keizer police.
About a half hour after the 5:30 p.m. crash, police were called by the truck driver to report the accident. Luis Angel Francisco Bartolo, 24, of Keizer, was arrested for DUII and failing to perform the duties of a driver.
• A Keizer woman reported to police at about 10 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, that an argument with her boyfriend grew into an assault. She said she was grabbed by the throat and punched several times in the face at a home on Northeast Arleta Place.
Christopher D. Shuck, 59, was arrested for domestic harassment, menacing, strangulation and possession of methamphetamine, according to Keizer police.
