Mexico.

Joining the Rotary Clubs of Creek side and East Salem, members of the Rotary Club of Keizer worked to load firefighting equipment for the Guaymas, Mexico Fire District.

With the help of Chemeketa Community College, the Rotary Clubs searched for a used ambulance and fire truck. The Guaymas, Mexico Fire District paid for the vehicles.

Surplus supplies were donated, in part, by Chemekta Community College.

The Rotary Clubs and Rotary District 5100 paid to transport the equipment to the Woodburn Fire Station, where it was loaded into a cargo container on Saturday, June 8. The flatbed truck will transport the vehicles and equipment to Mexico.

Financial details were organized by Woodburn Firefighter Raul Garza.
