Pancakes are back on the menu

After a two year hiatus because of COVID, Keizer Fire District’s Santa Breakfast returned on Sunday, Dec. 11, with a large turnout of hungry families.

In total, the fundraising breakfast brought in $2,978, split between the Keizer Community Food Bank and the Keizer Fire Foundation. Each received a check for $1,489.

The Keizer Community Food Bank also received the leftover eggs and milk, as well as an additional $1,000 donated by the Keizer Professional Fire Fighters Local 3881.

The KFD will be hosting the Candy Cane Day Drive Thru on Saturday, Dec. 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
