After the March 14 home game was rained out, the McNary High School softball team traveled to southern Oregon to play two games on Tuesday, March 15, first against the Roseburg Indians and then the Grants Pass Caveladies.
The Celtic girls defeated Roseburg 4-2. Lacey Vasas was 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs. Vasas pitched a full seven innings, recording nine strikeouts and no earned runs.
In the same game Brookelyn Jackson was 1 for 2 with two runs scored
The Grants Pass girls won 5-4 over the Lady Celts. Madison Morse went 2 for 3, hitting the first Celtic homerun of the season, scoring two of the four runs. Brookelynn Jackson and Heather Ebner both got two hits during the game.
