A 16-year-old driver from Keizer was involved in a fatal vehicle vs. pedestrian crash in the 7500 block of Lakeside Drive Northeast in Salem
The incident occurred at 10:45 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8.
Soon after emergency services arrived on scene, the pedestrian was pronounced as deceased.
The involved driver remained on scene and called 9-1 . . .
