Oregon bike, ped committee to meet in Salem

The Oregon Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee will meet from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Nov. 4 at ODOT’s Transportation Building, 355 Capitol St. NE, Gail Achterman Room, in Salem.

Agenda items include an equity training for committee members, a discussion with ODOT’s new active transportation manager, Jeff Flowers, updates on the new Oregon Community Paths program and more.

The committee accepts public comment; those who wish to do so are encouraged to sign up on the public comment sheet provided at the meeting. General guidelines: provide written summaries when possible and limit comments to three minutes. If you bring written summaries or other materials to the meeting, please provide the chairperson with a copy prior to your comment.
