Two arrested for drug possession

A man allegedly selling drugs from a home in the 400 block of Chemawa Road North was arrested when Keizer police officers served a search warrant on his home.

Joel Boldman, 45, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and being a felon in possession of a firearm on Tuesday, July 23. Anna Marie Chapman-Olsen, 64, was charged with possession of methamphetamine during the search.

In June, members of the Keizer Police Department Community Response Unit received complaints from neighbors about potential drug activity at the home. They reported multiple people were stopping at the home several times a day and grew concerned that drugs were being sold.

CRU began an investigation and corroborated what neighbors were witnessing. Based on that, a search warrant was approved and executed.

During the search of the residence, a scale, a small amount of crystal methamphetamine, glass smoking pipes and a loaded Glock semi-automatic handgun discovered and seized.

Two children, a 15-year-old girl and a 16-month-old boy, were taken into protective custody and released to relatives.

Boldman has a history of prior arrests for possession of controlled substances and child endangerment according to online court records.
