The Keizer Police Department will stage its first 5K Foot Pursuit in July to benefit Special Olympics of Oregon.
The Pursuit is a 5K Run/Walk and a 1K walk. The 5K will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 27 at the Keizer Rotary Amphitheater at Keizer Rapids Park. This part of the Pursuit will include a non-chip timed run through nearby neighborhoods; the 1K will take place on the trails inside park boundaries.
The entree fee is $17 prior to July 1 and $25 after. The fee includes a shirt and a goody bag.
