Amy Queen for Circuit Court judge

Amy Queen

To the Editor:

Here’s why I am endorsing Amy Queen for Marion County Circuit Judge – Position 14:

I worked with Amy on many public safety issues and projects when I was the Woodburn Police Chief and the Salem Deputy Police Chief. Amy is an experienced and talented lawyer. For nearly 20 years, Amy has been serving Marion County as a prosecutor in the role of Deputy District Attorney. Currently, she is the Domestic Violence Trial Team Leader, the Public Information Officer, and supervises the Case Support Team and the law clerk program for the District Attorney’s Office.

Amy believes that experience and service matters. Amy has trained countless Marion County law enforcement officers on contemporary legal issues. Amy has a demonstrated track record of law knowledge, strong work ethic, leadership, respected decision making, compassion, fairness, impartiality and integrity – all necessary ingredients for a successful Circuit Court Judge. Amy’s trial experience is vast and includes prosecuting the most serious crimes, including aggravated murder, but also addressing livability issues which have had a significant impact on the Marion County community.

Elections have consequences. Make the right choice. Elect Amy Queen as Marion County Circuit Court Judge – Position 14.
