Keizertimes welcomes new advertising rep

Robin Barney has joined the Keizertimes as an advertising account representative. Barney joins the newspaper after considerable experience with sales and customer service. She will handle display advertising for the weekly paper as well as special sections and web advertising.

Barney, a long-time fixture in Keizer, recently ended her tenure as president of the Keizer Heritage Foundation, which owns and operates the Keizer Cultural Center. Previously she worked for the Keizer Chamber of Commerce, the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes and SAIF Corporation.

“Robin brings high energy to her new position. Her knowledge, experience and customer service background will be key when she is helping our customers attract new customers to their businesses,” said Keizertimes publisher Lyndon Zaitz.

Barney will help clients with will the upcoming special issues. including the Sept. 24 edition of the Keizertimes which will mailed to more than 13,500 Keizer homes, and the Holiday Event and Gift Guide, which will also be mailed to more than 13,500 homes.
