Bridgeway welcomes new behavioral health director

Texidor Maldonado

Carlos O. Texidor Maldonado has joined Bridgeway Recovery Services as the organization’s Director of Behavioral Health.

Bridgeway Recovery Services is an integrated health care service provider offering services including mental health counseling, chemical dependency treatment, and primary care.

Texidor Maldonado brings over 20 years of clinical and supervisory experience to his new position. He began his career providing addiction treatment services within the Department of Corrections. Since 1999, Carlos has worked in specialized programs such as treatment courts, Student Opportunity for Achieving Results (SOAR) (a collaborative program between Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Chemeketa Community College focused on reducing recidivism), and the Psychiatric Securities Review Board (PSRB).

As Clinical Supervisor for Marion County Health and Human Services-Addiction Treatment Services, he supervised outpatient rural services, specialty courts, Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD), SOAR, and the US Federal Probation and Pretrial Services.

“I believe recovery is a journey and it’s up to each individual to choose it,” Texidor Maldonado said. “It’s not about forcing someone to change, it’s an invitation to change.”

Texidor Maldonado holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Business Administration from Corban University.
