Langdon Smith
On April 11, a new stake presidency was called to serve the Keizer stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Langdon Smith (Keizer) was called to serve as stake president, with Nathan Hurst (Hubbard) as 1st counselor and Kendall Pyper (Silverton) as 2nd counselor.
Nathan Hurst
After nine years of service as stake president, Neil Nelson, of Keizer, was released, along with his counselors Jay Kemble (Salem), and Kirk Barclay (St. Paul). The Keizer Stake (a group of congregations) serves members and communities from State Street in Salem north to Hubbard and east to Silverton.
Kendall Pyper
Smith is an attorney at Smith Morgan, LLP, and lives in Keizer with his wife Linae and their four children. Nathan Hurst is an insurance broker for Leavitt Group in Portland. He lives in Hubbard along with his wife, Maile, and their fourchildren. Kendall Pyper is a resident of Silverton. He is a general dentist and operates his own dental practice there. He and his wife, Lainie, have five children.
