Sofia Boru of Keizer won the Miss Congeniality Award at the Miss Oregon USA 2021 pageant held March 20 in Wilsonville.
Boru is a special education instructional assistant at McNary High School. She advocates for people who suffer from domestic violence and created the campaign, #getupglowup as part of her initiative.
A $300 cash scholarship came with the Miss Congeniality title, which is voted by all the pageant contestants.
Boru is the daughter of Paula and Randy Moseley of Keizer.
The Miss Oregon USA pageant is a preliminary for the Miss USA pageant.
