SKIT Theatre will stage the award-winning musical, Annie in May at the Salem First Free Methodist Church, 4455 Silverton Road NE.
Based on the comic, Little Orphan Annie, the show tells the story of Annie’s search for her parents, her life in an orphanage run by the evil Miss Hannigan and finding happiness with her adoptive father Oliver Warbucks and his secretary, Grace Farrell.
Performances will include dress rehearsal that is open to the public, at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 9. Main performances will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 10, Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18. There will also be 2 p.m. matinees on Saturday, May 11 and Saturday, May 18.
