Simonka Place dedicates playground to Rotary
The Keizer Rotary recently donated time, man power and money to create a playground for the kids at Simonka Place, the women's shelter in Keizer. At a dedication ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 1 the Simonka place thanked the Rotary for their involvement and dedicated the playground to them.

The Rotary Club of Keizer partnered with Simonka Place to create a playground for the children staying at the shelter. Kathy Smith, director of women’s ministries for the Union Gospel Mission, presented a plaque to the RotaryClub to thank them for making the effort at a dedication ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 1.
