LETTER: Dylan Juran for council

To the Editor:

My support goes to Dylan Juran for Position 2, Keizer Council.

Dylan has been in Keizer since he was 4, went to school here, bought a home here. He believes he has a duty to himself, his family to invest in the community and make it better.

As a five-year veteran of the Keizer Parks Advisory Board, Dylan helped drive the effort to improve our parks through a parks fee. The positive results can be seen throughout the city. He’s passionate about education and currently works for an organization developing student assessment tools for teachers. He also helped start non-profit offering after-school programs, involving video gaming, for middle and high school students. His experience applying new approaches to problem solving will prove valuable to City Council deliberations.

Dylan is concerned about Keizer’s livability, from public safety to housing and the economy. including opportunities for the next generation. He will listen to the concerns of citizens and seeks equitable solutions, looking to the future while valuing Keizer’s resilience and tradition of working together.

Dylan will be a voice for all our citizens. He represents the new generation of leadership ready to embrace the diverse and inclusive community Keizer strives to be. Join me in supporting Dylan Juran for Keizer Council.
