SHELTER
Those affected by the fires can seek shelter at Volcanos Stadium, The Oregon State Fairgrounds and The Polk County Fairgrounds.
LIVESTOCK
The page Real Cowboy 911 helps connect livestock owners. If you need help evacuating or are willing to help someone evacuate livestock this page may help.
This group has a fully assembled team and they are doing a rescue in Mill City. They are able to get to locations up to Mill City if they are reasonably close to the main highway. Off the highway or farther east towards Detroit will be determined based on how the situation evolves. If your animal is still in the evacuation zone for the Beachie Creek/Santiam/Riverside fire area please fill out a rescue/relief request form.
The Oregon State Fairgrounds is still accepting animals of all types. They will get creative before they turn anyone away.
If you are able to self care for your dog it is welcome here, if not they recommend checking with the Willamette Humane Society which is better suited for taking care of dogs.
Marion County Community Services is coordinating animal care. Evacuees can get help and shelter for their livestock including sheep, goats, swine, horses, cattle, poultry, and domestic pets. No appointment is necessary, and people on site 24 hours a day, however, specific accommodations and special needs should be coordinated before arriving. Persons seeking animal respite should call 208-437-3002 to make arrangements.
MENTAL HEALTH
The Oregon State Fairgrounds has Marion County Behavioral Health on site to help with those experiencing less than stellar mental health due to the Beachie Creek and other fires.
The Psychiatric Crisis Center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help those experiencing a mental health crisis. Please call 503-585-4949 to speak to a team member.
Marion County Youth and Family Crisis Services are available to support youth up to 24 years of age who are struggling. The program can be reached at 503-576-4673.
The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is also available to provide free and confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for people in distress. Connect with the lifeline by calling 1-800-273-8255
RED CROSS
The Red Cross is providing support and assistance at the following locations:
-Oregon State Fairgrounds: 2330 17th St. NE, Salem
-Oregon Convention Center: 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland
-Corbett High School: 35800 E Historic Columbia River, Corbett
-Deschutes County Fairgrounds: 3800 SW Airport Way, Redmond
-Jackson County Expo: 1 Peninger Rd., Central Point
-Douglas County Fairgrounds: 2110 Frear St., Roseburg
The shelter in Newport has wrapped up operations, but the Red Cross is still available for support. If anyone in Lincoln County needs assistance, please call (541) 921-3049.

UNITED WAY
Starting Monday, Sept. 14, donations for fire evacuees will be collected at 1330 Front Street N.E. Salem.

Rain Gear, jackets, ponchos, Tent, Sleeping bags, Sleeping pads, New pillows, New blankets, Green propane canisters, New socks, New underwear (men’s is needed)
MEAL DONATIONS
Meal donations are being scheduled through the Salvation Army by contacting Lt. Laura Fyn at 503-602-6454. Marion County is asking that all meals be served in individual packaging to comply with CDC guidelines.
