After winning the 132-pound division at the Oregon Golden Gloves Tournament last month, Keizer resident Apolinar (Poli) Lopez will be competing in the Golden Gloves Regional Tournament this weekend in Las Vegas.
This will be Lopez’s second straight trip to regionals.
“(Lopez) is pretty graceful when he moves around,” said his coach, Dan Dunn. “He has great situational awareness in the ring.”
