You know the routine. You buy ice at the grocery store and then have to slam it repeatedly into the ground or some other surface before it fits in the cooler.

Chemawa Deli & Market is now offering fresh-bagged ice at a self-service station outside the market at 388 Chemawa Road N.
Look for the large blue box that says Fresh Ice. Ice that is bagged when it is purchased and uses filtered water that requires no human interaction.
Ice is $2 for 10 pounds and $3.50 for 20 pounds. Water is a quarter a gallon or $1 for five gallons. The machine takes coins, cash, and credit/debit card.
