Xandros Huddleston discovers a toy he donated among the hundreds of other donations at the Marion County Recycling Toy Swap.
On Saturday, Dec. 7, Faith Lutheran Church on River Road North hosted the area’s first-ever Toy Swap.
In the weeks leading up to the event, area residents dropped off lightly used toys as part of an effort by Marion County Recycling to reduce waste.
Last weekend, all the donations were collected and offered for free. About two dozen visitors filled a community room at Faith Lutheran after the opening.
