Hello Keizer….

It is forecast to be a hot few days ahead, as temperatures hit triple digits through early next week. Stay hydrated, reduce physical activities during the hottest times of the day.

Watch out for neighbors, friends and family who are older.

If you are headed to bodies of water to stay cool during the heatwave, remember: safety first. Be mindful of still-cold and swift river currents. If you plan to do any jumping or diving into rivers, check out the water first so you are not jumping onto hidden objects. Wear a lifejafcket (especially kdis). Concerts at Keizer Rapids Park return to the Keizer Rotary Amphitheatre, starting on July 20, with Rhythm and Business. The show starts at 5 p..m. Santiam Brewery will offer beer and wine while food trucks will feature their fare.
