Hello Keizer….

Get ready for beautiful weather in the Willamette Valley this weekend.

Sunday is Mother’s Day; the weather will make it a great day to honor mom. BUT, there will not be the traditional Mother’s Day Pancake Breakfast at Keizer Fire District. That has been moved to a week later. Renamed the Keizer Fire Breakfast, it will be held on Sunday, May 19. The move allows fire district employees who are also mothers to be celebrated on ‘their’ day instead of preparing, serving and cleaning up breakfast.

Primary election ballots have been delivered to mailboxes. The election is Tuesday, May 21. Voting could not be easier: retrieve from the mail, make your election choices, but the. ballot back in the envelope and either mail it or drop it off at a ballot box (there is a drive-up ballot box near the entrance of the Keizer Civic Center.
