OHS Salem scares up nearly $80K

Oregon Humane Society’s (OHS) Salem campus held its annual Bower’s Boo Bash dinner, raising nearly $80,000 to fund all aspects of care for dogs and cats.

Salmon Bake feeds community

American Legion Post 9 of Keizer held its annual salmon bake at the Keizer Lions Club on Saturday, Oct. 7. About 100 meals were served, including salmon cooked by a constantly burning fire outside the club house.

The Keizer Police Department staged its second Faith and Blue event on Saturday, Oct. 7 at Central Cristiano Agape Church in Keizer. 

Fall-ing for harvest festival

Harvest Festival at Bauman’s Farm in Gervais continues through Sunday, Oct. 29, with a variety of activities including a giant pumpkin weigh off and a pumpkin drop on Saturday, Oct. 7.
