Burgerville is coming to Keizer.
The popular hamburger chain plans to open sometime in the fall, according to Abigail Idiaquez, a representative for Burgerville.
Construction is slated to begin later in July.
The new fast food restaurant will be located at 3775 River Rd., replacing the Sonic restaurant which closed in September 2022.
Keizer has long been on the radar for Burgerville as the community is a “great place to expand with its strong community ties,” Idiaquez said.
Keeping in line with the Keizer motto of Pride, Spirit and Volunteerism, Idiaquez stated that the city’s purported image of selfless aid is mirrored by Burgerville’s mission of “serving with love.”
She added that Burgerville will also serve as a source of opportunity for Keizerites, offering fundraising chances for local schools and organizations.
