Experiment with magnetism at Keizer Community Library 

The Keizer Community Library is hosting an event experimenting with magnetism from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17. 

The event will be held downstairs at the Keizer Cultural Center, 980 Chemawa Rd. N. The science event is for children in grades 2 to 5. 

Former electron microscopist and Keizer Library board member Barbara Miner, will teach the class about magnetism and how it interacts and affects other phenomena such as gravity. 

The session is limited to 30 and advance tickets are available at the front desk of the library. Library hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
