The City of Keizer is inviting the public to celebrate World Water Day on March 22 by participating in The Great Raindrop Scavenger Hunt.
The hunt is a self-guided digital scavenger hunt that runs from March 20 through April 3.
Keizer joins Marion County, Marion County Soil and Water Conservation District and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at Ankeny Hill Nature Center in marking World Water Day.
The theme for this year’s World Water Day is access to clean drinking water and sanitation.
To participate in The Great Raindrop Scavenger Hunt:
1) Visit any or all five participating locations during park/refuge hours.
- Keizer: Keizer Rapids Park
- Salem: Riverfront Park
- Marion Co.: Wheatland Ferry
- USFWS: Ankeny Hill Nature Center
- Marion SWCD: Stayton office
2) Search for the hidden raindrop at each location
3) Scan the QR code to find out about the location, water fact and call to action
4) Share pictures to social media, use the hastag #GreatRaindropScavengerHunt and tag
