The Keizer Fire District Board of Directors officially signed the separation agreement with Chief Jeff Cowan during the open session for the board meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 14.
The signing marks Cowan’s final day of employment with KFD after nearly 15 years.
Following the signing, the board read a statement announcing Cowan’s retirement, thanking him for his service, and reiterating he leaves on good terms with the district.
