Oregon drivers can pump their own gas during heatwave, says Governor

In an effort to help gas station attendants throughout the state, Governor Kate Brown announced July 27 that Oregon drivers will be allowed to pump their own gas while the current heatwave makes it unhealthy for people to remain outside working for long durations without breaks or water.

Initially Brown set the temporary rule to expire at midnight Friday, July 29. However as of July 28 it has been extended through Saturday.
