The Mountain Valley Conference’s all-conference team has been announced, and seven McNary Celtics made the first and second teams, as selected by coaches’ votes.
Infielder Trevor Ratliff, sophomore, and designated hitter/utility player Cooper Cripe, junior, both made first team.
Ratliff batted .375, slugged .500 with nine RBIs and a home run. His .958 fielding percentage was second among infielders on the first team, only committing one error on the season.
Cripe hit .429 on the season with a .643 slugging percentage, 11 RBIs and one home run.
The Celtics had five players made second team. First baseman Hayden Kaiser and infielders Eben Mayer and Gunner Smedema, all seniors, are joined by sophomore pitcher Jake Allen and freshman outfielder Jordan Araiza. Araiza is the only freshman on either team this season.
Outfielders Zane Aicher, senior, and Anthony Cepeda, junior, were named honorable mentions.
