The KBZY Radio Chihuahua 500 Race was held Saturday, May 6, at Los Dos Hermanos restaurant in Keizer, raising money for Woods Creek Rescue in Silverton. Eight dogs were in the race. “Scuttlebut,” above, came in first place – followed by “Nacho” and “Patron.” The first-ever event was sponsored by Casa Bella Construction LLC, Candalaria Barbershop, United Way of Willammete Valley, Doggy Mobile Gym, and Petsmart on Lancaster.
