A look ahead in city events

The Keizer Community Library Book Sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5 and Saturday, Nov. 6. The book sale will be located at the Keizer Community Center and will feature discounted books, CDs, games, movies and more. 

City Council will meet on Monday, Nov. 8 to discuss possible funding options for the operation of their public broadcast on KeizerTV. The work session will take place at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. 

The Parks Advisory Board will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. The meeting’s agenda will be posted on the city website beforehand. 

A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new 7-Eleven at Keizer Station will take place at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 9. It will be the third 7-Eleven in Keizer. The location of the new store is known as “the jug handle” between Ulali Drive Northeast and Chemawa.

A Greater Gubser Neighborhood Association meeting will take place Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. in the McNary Room C of Keizer City Hall. 

West Keizer Neighborhood Association meeting will take place Thursday, Nov. 11 in the lobby of City Hall at 7 p.m.
