KCL reopening this weekend

The Keizer Community Library will celebrate its reopening and remodeled space with a ceremony and ribbon cutting on Saturday, Sept. 18.

The public is invited to attend the ribbon-cutting by Mayor Cathy Clark at 11:30 a.m. at the front of the Keizer Cultural Center, 980 Chemawa Road NE.

The event, scheduled to go until 3 p.m., will include tours of the updated library space, free library cards and refreshments.

Attendees are reminded about the library’s firm adherence to face coverings and social distancing during the ceremony. Face coverings will be required before entering the remodeled space on the ground floor of the building. Face masks will be provided if needed.
