Diamond anniversary

Keizerites John and Juliana (Smith) Cutsforth will celebrate their 60th anniversary years on Feb. 11.

John was born in Silverton and Juliana in Salem. They were married at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Salem on Feb. 11, 1961.

The couple met in 1959 while cruising “The Gut,” Portland Road Northeast and parts of downtown, in Salem.

John worked for and then owned 500 Motors used car lot for 34 years. He then worked five years for Blue Diamond Hazelnut Company and 11 years for Cherriots Transit System. Juliana worked for 37 years at Moore Business Forms and 11 years for the Department of Revenue.

The couple has three daughters: Jody Orcutt, Jill Storms and Joyce Cutsforth. They have two grandchildren Elaine Navarro and Tony Orcutt and two great granddaughters, Ellis and Anna. They have lived in Keizer since 1963.
