President Trump impeached for second time

Donald Trump was impeached for the second time by the House of Representatives by a 232-197 vote on Wednesday, Jan. 13. The House adopted one article of impeachment: incitement of insurrection. He is the first U.S. president to be impeached twice.

All 222 House Democrats were joined by 10 Republicans in the final vote. 

The president will stand trial before the United States Senate.
