The Keizer Public Arts Commission is holding a contest for the 2020 city holiday card and the deadline is the end of January 2020.
Each year, the arts commission requests artistic submissions to be featured on the Keizer holiday card, but the group did not receive any submissions this year. Hoping to capitalize on the winter vibes, the commission is opening the contest for next year, now.
Artists of all ages are eligible to enter, one piece of artwork will be selected for the card and the artist will be awarded a $100 gift card for Michaels Arts and Crafts. The card is 4-by-6 inches and submitted artwork should be proportional to those dimensions.
Entries can be submitted to Debbie Lockhart at the Keizer Civic Center located at 930 Chemawa Road N.E. Entries are due by 4 p.m., Friday, Jan. 31.
Entry forms can be found at the www.keizer.org and must be submitted along with the artwork.
