Whiteaker choir Cabaret a hot ticket

By DEREK WILEY Of the Keizertimes Even in a bigger venue, Andy Thomas, choir director at Whiteaker Middle School, decided on two nights for the annual Cabaret show. And that decision has paid off as the first performance, Thursday, Feb. 23, has already sold out. “Parents like to come more than once,” Thomas said. “The kids work so hard and put so much into it, to only do it one night, short changes. Eagle scout fixes trail blazed by father

To become an Eagle Scout, a scout must complete a culminating project which involves planning, leading, and carrying out a service project that will benefit a community, religious institute, or school. Celtics prep for districts

Boost academics

Athletics at McNary High School has a club of boosters—a non-profit organization comprised mainly of parents of the students who play sports. The choir and band programs also have organized boosters. Boosters not only support the programs but are also a big source of fund raising. Athletics and arts should be supported and boosted.
