To the Editor:

What a wonderful sight it is to see the sign at McGee-Newton Plaza in the center of town back up. The letters that spell out the foundation of our city were vandalized years ago, and are now replaced and they look great.

Councilor Joe Egli championed the project, and enlisted the help of Keizer Rotary, Randy Miller and others. Joe and Randy are the folks that get it. They understand those words on the sign and what makes our community the best place to live. If you see Joe or Randy, say thanks for getting the project done, that reminds us each time we pass, why we live in the City of Keizer.

Thanks Joe and Randy.
