David Lee Curry passed away suddenly Thursday, March 14 at the Salem Hospital, surrounded by loved ones.
David was born in Indianapolis, Ind. in 1942.
David joined the U.S. Navy when he was 17 years old. He married Paula Bruner in 1964 and they had a daughter Stella. They divorced in 1986 and he later married Nanci Lowery on December 21, 1998.
David was an auctioneer and a commercial realtor for 30 years, most recently with Coldwell Banker. David loved to fish and his favorite thing to do was play golf.
David is survived by his wife Nanci, daughter Stella Tanner (Pat), step-daughter Danna King (Quintin), brothers Ray (Cody), Tom (Marjorie), Jim (Jane) and sister Vicki Morace (Bruce). He is also survived by his grandchildren David, Jason, Kyle and Megan Brown; Emily and Jared King and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held Wednesday, March 20 at McNary Golf Course in Keizer.
