Apportionment changes for several Keizer Station properties to be heard on Tuesday

By CRAIG MURPHY Of the Keizertimes The amount being owed on several Keizer Station properties is being changed again. But this time there are no delinquent payments or property owners involved. During the Keizer City Council meeting next Tuesday (pushed back a day due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday), there will be a hearing on lot line adjustments and partitions for properties in the Keizer Station Area A Local Improvement District (LID). The applications have been made by California-based Donahue Schriber Realty Group, which owns and operates Keizer Station. Chemawa to be done this year

By CRAIG MURPHY Of the Keizertimes Let’s try that again. A year ago, the plan was to have a redone Chemawa Road North done by the end of 2012. That didn’t happen. Now the plan is the same, with everything pushed back a year. Bill Lawyer, Public Works director for Keizer, gave an update on the plans at a Jan. 10 West Keizer Neighborhood Association meeting at Keizer Civic Center. The Chemawa project would add sidewalks, bike lanes, trees and new signal on a stretch of the road from River Road west to Keizer Rapids Park, at the edge of the city limits.
