Ceil was born to Stanley and Catherine Dolke on September 24, 1915 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.  She passed away peacefully at home and into God’s arms on January 3, 2013 at the age of 97 years. She spent much of her life in the mid-west. She married Andrew Bobrowitz in 1941. In addition to raising her family, she was the Cook-Manager for Brookfield Central High School in Brookfield, Wisconsin for over twenty years. She loved to travel and see great national parks. Most of all, she loved the people she met.

In 1985 at seventy years of age, Ceil and Andy continued their life-quest when they left their family in Wisconsin and moved to Keizer, Oregon. They spent ten years of adventure and discovery. Ceil fell in love with the Oregon Coast, local Keizer garage sales, Central Oregon, baking for new friends, sharing recipes and her beloved Mt Angel Oktoberfest. They developed a vast family of friends and many memories with their church family at St Edward Catholic Church in Keizer.

In 2006, Ceil was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Andy. Ceil was the cherished mother of Margaret Bobrowitz, Jim (Merry) Corbett, Art (Roseann) Bobrowitz, and Patricia Schuerer. She was the grandmother of Kimberly (Dan) Perik, Kendra (Greg) Smith, Jennifer (Scott) Sorenson and Jubilee Corbett. She loved being the great-grandma of Alli, Jordan, Samantha, Grant, Connor, Molly, Kati, Kyle and Karisa.

Private family graveside services will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Elm Grove, Wisconsin. Ceil, we will all cherish the memories of your hospitality, thoughtfulness, kindness and sense of humor. We love and miss you!
