A naked man bathing in water at Keizer Station got police attention Monday morning, but they said no crime was committed.

Keizer Police were called near Men’s Wearhouse at 8:17 a.m. Monday, October 22, on a report the man was swimming in water near the footbridge across Keizer Station Boulevard. The complainant was concerned he could be in danger from the cold water.

“The subject could not explain why he was naked in the water, but thought because he was in the canal out of the sight of the public he was OK,” said Lt. Alan McCowan of Keizer Police.

The responding officer told the man his conduct was inappropriate and the man said it wouldn’t happen again. Police checked to see if he needed medical attention before leaving.
