Marion County Dog Control will host a dog license amnesty event offering amnesty on late fees and license violations from 10 a.m. – noon Saturday, Feb. 25, at Petco in Keizer Station.

The group is also offering a low cost vaccination clinic.   Willamette Valley Animal Hospital will partner with dog control and provide low-cost vaccinations for dogs. Rabies vaccinations will be offered for $1 to those who also purchase a second preventative vaccine. Rabies vaccinations without the second vaccine are $9.50 and other low cost vaccinations being offered are corona, DHLPP and bordatella vaccinations, all $10.

Licenses are $17 a year for neutered or spayed dogs and $32 for unaltered dogs. The license fee is spayed or neutered dogs owned by seniors 65 or older is $5. Please bring a check or exact change. Dogs must be on leashes or in carriers.
