Keizer should be part of Salem library

To the Editor: As a recognized advocate for a public library in Keizer, I feel that many of the remarks made in connection with obtaining cooperation with Salem in changing the Urban Growth Boundary could also apply to providing a public library here. When I was appointed a few years ago to Keizer’s third Library Task Force, I voiced the opinion that I felt that a joint Salem-Keizer library district should be formed with a branch library in Keizer.  After a few years as Director of Keizer Community Library, I still hold that view.
