Thank you, teachers

To the Editor: Teacher Appreciation Week  ws marked earlier this month and a huge thank you goes out to teachers everywhere! However, I want to give special thanks to all of the wonderful teachers at Cummings Elementary School. I am fortunate enough to volunteer at this wonderful school and serve as a board member on the PTC. I love this school for so many reasons and at the top of the list are the teachers. Ms. Lisa Sundseth, the school principal, sets such a nurturing tone and the school is a place of respect, kindness, and learning, this theme flows so naturally. Keizer is a wonderful community and wonderful donations where made in support of “Teacher Appreciation Week.” The following businesses made donations to Cummings Elementary School.  Thanks to Big Town Hero, Applebee’s, Albertsons, Los Dos Hermonos, Pizza Hut, Mommy and Maddi’s, Safeway, La Hacienda Real, MiMi’s Wedding Bouquets, Garden Home Products, and the many staff, parents and volunteers who love to contribute. We thank the following businesses for contributing to our school’s “Art and Authors Event”: McGrath’s Fish House, Red Lobster, Salon 124, Fred Meyer, Color Me Mine, Massage Envy, Petco and V2 Dentistry. Each class at Cummings got donations from families for a raffle basket all grades had different themes. Sherri Tosi...
